How much does it cost to book a band?

Fees are dependent on date, location, timings, and size and audience numbers too. This will determine what equipment we will need, which musicians you require and how much time the booking will take up. Providing us with as much information as possible will help us put your quote together.

Can I see the bands live before I make a booking?

The vast majority of our bookings are private functions; and unsurprisingly we're unable to bring uninvited guests to these events. Every once in a while we have a public gig within London. The best thing to do is sign up to our mailing list to stay in touch and find out if we have any public events coming up in our diary that are close to you.

How do I know which band is right for me?

Our bands are all very versatile, and have all played at a wide range of events. The good news is that each of our bands can play with more or less energy, or adjust the sets accordingly to the audience they are performing to so you will be in safe hands.

As a general rule of thumb, an increased need for the music to a central part of your event as opposed to a gentle accompaniment will push your choice towards one of our larger bands such as our party bands or our larger acoustic bands who can perform both with PA system or fully unplugged as roaming bands to move around your event.

So to finish off a wedding or a corporate party, the full band would be best as it delivers more energy and power than any other band. And for a gentle accompaniment to your day that builds into a full acoustic band for feel good energy; you should look at our acoustic duos, trios and quartets.

Do I need to provide the band with food and drink?

At any afternoon events where we are required to be at the venue for more than 4 hours, and for all evening performances, then our musicians will require one hot meal each.

For all our bookings we ask for soft drinks and water as standard to keep us hydrated.

How long does it take you to setup?

Our acoustic acts take approximately 60 minutes to setup, and our full bands take approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes to setup. If your event enables us to setup shortly before we are due to play then our acoustic acts will arrive 1 hour and 30 minutes before they are due to play and our full bands will arrive 2 hours before they are due to play.

If you need us to arrive earlier in the day, for example to be setup before your guests arrive or otherwise, then please let us know and we'll make sure we are prepared for an early arrival. Please note however that if our time at the venue is significantly increased then this will make an impact on the quote for your booking.

How much space, and what technical requirements do the bands need?

The acoustic duos need 3metres x 3metres, and access to at least two plug sockets.

Our acoustic trios and quartets require 5meters x 5meters, and access to 4 plug sockets.

The full party band required 6 metres x 6 meters, and access to 8 plug sockets.

Will you play the first dance at our wedding?

Happily - for all our wedding performances, all the musicians in the band you book will get to work to learn your special song. Similarly, if you would like an original recording to be used for the first dance instead of a band performance, then this can be played through our PA system.

How is the setlist put together & can I choose the songs I want?

From huge gigging experience at all manner of events from birthday parties (of all different ages) to weddings and corporate events, take our word from it that we know how to put together a setlist. If you have your favourite few songs that you'd especially like us to play then please let us know and we'll do our best to get them into a set for you. Generally speaking, we will put together a mixture and order of songs that appeals to different generations to keep all your guests happy

Song order is crucial, and specific client requests regarding song order or a certain blend of songs can dramatically affect the impact of the live music. Collectively our musicians gig hundreds of times every year, and its this experience that gives us the upper hand in creating a setlist that your guests will love.

Can I book different performance lengths?

The most popular bookings are for 2 x 45 minutes for acoustic acts, and 2 x 60 minute sets for our full bands. If you'd like to book a different performance length, or add an additional set just let us know, and we'll try to make it a reality for you.

Do you play outdoors?

The simple answer is yes. As long as we're protected from the elements, we'll be more than happy to play outside. With the British weather being as unpredictable as it is, and to stop any performances being cut short, we ask for suitable cover from heavy wind or rain that could put our equipment and instruments at risk.

“Absolutely fantastic from our first dance to the end of the night. Thank you so much!”
